We wouldn’t be who we are without our greatest asset, which is our staff. We spend a lot of time investing in our staff, both personally and professionally. We offer English as a Foreign Language lessons to staff to help them feel more at home, and to help them feel comfortable in their role. Full Health and Safety training is undertaken so that all our staff are fully prepared, and are reassured that they are working in a safe environment.

Train while you work
Employees also have the option of gaining a NVQ qualification in Housekeeping, we currently have many staff on this scheme, and we find this improves motivation and retention. Hotelcare encourages its staff to progress within the company, for example we have long serving staff that have progressed through the company to become Directors.
